You Beauty Box ~ December 2016 Review

The last You Beauty Box of the year has an excellent choice of products and has been produced in partnership with Feelunique. With each box is a 15% discount code that can be used on all the brands until the end of May 2017 (some exclusions). Several items have already sold out and may or may not come back in stock, but here is the full list (all are special sample sizes unless indicated):

As you can see there’s a lot of choice with eight full sized products available. However, several of these are out of stock at the time of writing, but it’s worth checking to see if new stocks do arrive.

The extras this month were a little slim with a sample of Narciso Rodriguez fragrance and a voucher code for Feelunique. This month I opted for the Gold membership and got an extra product of a Mandara Spa Hand Butter. The Bronze membership at £6.95 allows a choice of two products, the Silver ( £8.95) gives you the choice of three items, and the Gold (£10.95) gives you the choice of four items.

I personally selected the Foreo cleanser, Ole Henriksen’s Sheer Transformation, The Vintage Company’s Powder Brush, and the Trilogy CoQ10 Booster Oil.  I would recommend trying the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist or the Eucerin Dry Skin Intensive Lip Balm, which are excellent products to combat the dehydrating effects of winter if you can’t decide.

Rating 3.9/5: A wide selection of products to choose from, but many are small sample sizes that could be obtained free. The extras were rather poor; a fragrance sample and a discount code that is available freely isn’t really an incentive to buy. However, I got two full sized products and two samples of products that I know I will use, so it is better value than a mystery box. The box is good value if you choose at least one full sized item, otherwise you are paying £2-3 for a small sample.
