Products that are natural and contain as few artificial ingredients as possible are bound to be better for the skin—but do they work as well? The Organic Pharmacy prides itself on developing cosmetic and beauty products with organic ingredients and herbal extracts, including aloe, rose hip, and shea butter. Their products are premium quality, and deliver results to match.
Many eye creams come in jars with a spatula, but this comes in a handy 10 ml tube. Now to many this may seem a small quantity, but the cream is quite concentrated, and a little goes a long way. It nourishes and hydrates the delicate skin around the eyes and lips, and is said to help reduce the appearance of puffiness and dark circles. As I have neither I can’t say that the product does this, but the idea of using an eye cream is to prevent such things!
To use the cream, squeeze half a pea sized amount onto the ring finger (fourth finger, because it’s more cushioned and won’t drag the skin) and then warm up the cream, which will loosen the consistency. Start from the eye bone under the eye nearest the nose, and pat the cream around the eye. Then start from the top inner eye bone area, and pat from closest the nose out towards the edge of the eye. Don’t apply it too close to the eye because creams absorb into the surrounding area, and could cause irritation if it gets into the actual eye.
Among some of the natural ingredients are: beeswax (for a rich texture), bilberry, fennel, frankincense, rose hip, shea butter, and evening primrose. The product is fragrance free, and is suitable for all skin types, so is ideal for all ages. The 10 ml tube is priced at $48 or £26.95, and can be used daily in the morning and in the evening. Personally, I prefer to use creams in the evening as it gives the product more of an opportunity to work without additional products being used over it.

The cream works as a preventative treatment as well as one that repairs the fragile areas around the eyes and lips. At first the cream may seem a little heavy and thick, which is why it is essential to loosen the texture before applying. Once on, it’s smooth and doesn’t feel heavy on the fragile eye area, but does leave a fine film after application. Recommended for evening use, rather than daytime, especially if you wear a lot of make-up. This is also ideal for the lip area if lines have started to form near the mouth, or if the skin is becoming more fragile. Apply around the area, (again warm the product with the finger tips first) and leave overnight as a treatment. A good choice for people who prefer natural products, and one that is gentle on the skin.
