Back in the 1990s, there was a company called Cosmetics To Go, which I ordered from and is now known as Lush. I still have some of their old brochures they used to send out, as it was originally a mail order company, and they were fun and colorful. I used to order my favorite handmade strawberry cake soap every couple of weeks, (as a vegetarian back then it was hard to find ethical products) as they offered free postage and packing back then too. It was a creative, ethical and fun company to buy from.
I have found some old items (mint condition) because I bought in bulk. They used to have a palette for the make-up, so you could buy eye shadows, cheek colors, and the face powder and make your own combinations. Here is the Rice Powder that was the only face powder available back then.
The company began in Poole, Dorset in England, and now is global. Famed for their bath bombs, and fun products, I’m glad the company has gone from strength to strength, and I was one of the first customers. I knew a good thing when I saw it.
