Here is a global directory of cosmetic companies with a link to their websites. The list is not exhaustive, and I will add to these and update them as and when. I have added some international and renowned  department stores who act as stockists, and who may stock store exclusives, and speciality cosmetic stores who discount and stock multiple brands. The list below is alphabetical, and I have divided the list into brands, and department stores and online retailers for ease of reference. *Some links maybe be affiliate links and others are recommended links.


 

Allbeauty.com ~ An online website based in the UK where they offer discounts on top brands and free delivery on orders over £20.

Beauty.com ~ Along with sister site drugstore.com, they offer a wide range selection of brands with 5% back on eligible purchases.

Benefit Cosmetics ~ Find the latest cult cosmetics with bright packaging and catchy names.

Bobbie Brown ~ Part of the Estée Lauder group, the brand is known for nude and neutral cosmetics.

Boots.com ~ A major chemist and stockist in the UK with their own brands (No.7 and 17 Cosmetics) with their Advantage loyalty card there are always beauty and fragrance offers available.

Burt’s Bees ~ Natural beauty care, renowned for their lipbalms.

Bloomingdales ~ The store has an excellent beauty hall, and the website has gift with purchases and loyalty points. Cosmetics are only shipped in the US.

Caudalie ~ A French company that harnesses the power of grapes in their products.

Clarins ~ Renowned for using natural plant extracts in their body and skin care ranges, the site offers special sizes with each order as well as a loyalty points system and free gifts.

Clinique ~ With minimalist packaging, the range is part of the Estée Lauder Group.

C.O. Bigelow ~ The oldest apothecary in the US houses a wonderful range of classic brands and cult brands, and their own range of products.

Crabtree and Evelyn ~ A company that has affordable and luxurious body care products, including hand creams and a range of fragrances.

Cultbeauty.co.uk  ~ An online retailer that offer free worldwide shipping on orders over £50.

CVS Pharmacy ~ One of the major pharmacies in the US. The store has its own Beauty Club which s free to join and offers discounts in addition to the Extra Rewards loyalty scheme it runs.

Debenhams ~ A department store that carries popular brands, and offers sales and discounts throughout the year.

Drugstore.com ~ Along with sister site beauty.com, they offer a wide range selection of brands with 5% back on eligible purchases.

e.l.f. Cosmetics or eyeslipsface which is what it stands for sells good quality cosmetics and accessories from a dollar. The also feature cruelty free brushes and a selection of palettes.

Elizabeth Arden ~ Known affectionately as ‘Lizzie Arden’ in the trade has several ranges including  Ceramide, Eight Hour Cream, and Visible Difference.

Estée Lauder ~ The Estée Lauder Group owns several brands now, and is well known for their annual Christmas collections and fragrance ranges

Feelunique.com ~ This online retailer offers discounts and 10% off your favorite brand for life once you sign up, and 10% student discount.

Fragrancedirect.co.uk ~ A discounted retailer that sells discontinued lines or overstock products. Stock varies weekly, and occasionally they have flash sales with 10% off the site for a few hours.

Groupon ~ A major discount site where you can find discounted beauty products, treatments, and beauty boxes.

Harrods ~ One of the most famous department stores in the world with exclusive brands, and launches.

House of Fraser ~ Originally a Scottish department store which owns established stores such as Kendals of Manchester.

John Lewis ~ A UK department store where they stock major cosmetic brands and exclusive brands, like Neal’s Yard Remedies. They are never knowingly undersold meaning that they will match the price of competitors.

Kiehl’s ~ A company that caters for all genders, and has a recycling loyalty card system where you bring back empty bottles in return for a stamp on a loyalty card leading to free products.

L’Occitane ~ A French based company that has stylish packaging, and skincare and body care ranges containing plant essences and extracts.

Lancôme ~ Now owned by L’Oreal has high profile celebrities endorsing their products.

LookFantastic ~ An online beauty retailer that also offers a beauty box subscription and free delivery for several countries.

Lord & Taylor ~ A traditional department store in the US with an easy to use website that ships internationally.

M.A.C. ~ (Makeup Art Cosmetics) has grown from makeup to a skincare range now. Also owned by the Estée Lauder Group, the company is known for its charity work in supporting AIDS.

Macy’s ~ One of the first department stores in the US, where the beauty hall always has offers and specials, and is a favorite for major launches.

Marc Jacobs Beauty ~ With some of most stylish packaging, the designer complements his fashion creations with his own beauty range.

Murad ~ Created by D. Murad, this range of skincare has won awards and offers starter kits to help you with a skincare routine.

Nars ~ François Nars has expanded his cosmetics range to include skincare products. Now a subsidiary of Shiseido, Nars is sold in select outlets and each season has limited edition colors.

Neal’s Yard Remedies ~ A well known and reputable ethical and organic beauty company stocking skincare, aromatherapy, and herbal remedies to choose from.

Ole Henriksen ~ Formulated by Danish cosmetician, the brand has won numerous awards and has a celebrity following.

Rite Aid Pharmacy ~ One the chain pharmacies across the US that offers weekly discounts on cosmetics and skincare products with their loyalty card.

Selfridges ~ A famous department store that often gets exclusive launches and gifts in the beauty hall. New brands have been known to have pop up stores here including Birchbox in the UK.

Sephora ~ A beauty superstore with its own range of cosmetics. With a generous loyalty club, samples and gifts are offered with each order, and the site has weekly specials.

The Body Shop and The Body Shop USA ~ A store that sells its own brand of skincare, body care, cosmetics, fragrances, and accessories all fairtrade and with ethics and natural products in mind.

Walgreens ~ One of the big pharmacies in the US stocks the basic beauty needs for each household. The weekly ad offers used in conjunction with the Balance Rewards loyalty card can save money on beauty buys, and designer fragrances can be bought online.
